No Men's Land is a project by cym. The first version of this project was realized between 2004 and 2007. This first version consists of 48 photos that were turned into 48 abstract images, each created by hand as an HTML table. This original version can now be visited at here

In the project No Men's Land cym is capturing some of the rapid changes of the Central European borders. On December 21, 2007 the border controls between Austria and its neighbouring countries Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia disappeared. This project features a collection of 48 photos taken by cym. There is still a huge collection of photos taken by cym between May 1st, 2004 and December 21st, 2007 waiting to be transformed into abstract HTML tables. Hopefully one day these images will be added to this site, giving an interesting view of the changes in Central Europe.

Cym is still taking photos of border situations each time she crosses a border.
