Border: Austria-Slovakia
This is a piece of real no-man's land between Austria and Slovakia. This is the area where it was absolutely forbidden to go up until 15 years ago.
The official border is the river March, that I crossed before taking this photo. Technically this side of the river is Slovakia. But the official border-crossing is about a 100 meters walk from the river.
The official border-crossing is on the left side of this empty building. The building looks like an old factory. I don't know what kind of factory it was, but by now it is completely empty. However, it was impossible to go inside, since it was very well protected with two very dangerous sounding dogs...
