Tel Aviv is only about 60 kilometers away from Bethlehem. It takes about 1,5 hours by car to travel there, but only if you are allowed to pass through the gate. In September 2010 it is still impossible for most of the people who are living in Bethlehem to travel to the beach in Tel Aviv.
