Border: Italy-Slovenia
This is a small road going from Italy into Slovenia. This crossing is only open on certain days and hours. A piece of paper with the timetable when the border is open is hanging on the little police office on the slovene side. You can cross this border only if you are a resident of area, but nothing keeps you from just walking to the other side when the border is officially closed.
In the distance, just before the road disappears behind the hill, you can see the blue EU-sign 'Slovenija'.
There is only a sign 'Slovenija' here. There is no sign telling you, that you are entering Italy, if you come from the other direction.
